Atari ST

The Atari ST is a line of home computers from Atari Corporation and the successor to the Atari 8-bit family. The first ST model, the 520ST, was released in June 1985. “ST” officially stands for “Sixteen/Thirty-two”, which referred to the Motorola 68000’s 16-bit external bus and 32-bit internals. I received my own Atari ST during the Christmas of 1994 (quite late), but was convinced of it’s unshakable superiority to Amiga’s 600 and 500, until I actually received an A600 a few months later. However the ST has a very special place in my heart having played it many times round my friends during my younger years.

PD Software... PD Software? What exactly is PD Software? "PD Software is the administration software used by your local Police Department. This includes database software, reception desk interfaces and identi-fit programs...." No, of course it's bloody not. PD Software, as I'm sure you know, stands for Public Domain Software. It was pretty prolific in the [...]
