It’s another episode of Byte Size, and in this one I’m exploring the wonderful, wonderful world of Plug and Play.. or Plug and Pray, as it was known in the early 90s. I’m sure you can guess the reasons behind that. I had my fair share of plug and play misery and shenanigans, but in concept, it’s a very good idea and on most modern PCs it works like a dream. It’s a shame it only took 10+ years to get it nailed.
Now grab that PCI video card and let’s hope it auto configures.
